Santa Cruz: Man stabbed, suspect arrested

SANTA CRUZ, Calif (KION) A fight between roommates ended in a stabbing Sunday night, sending one man to the hospital and the other to Santa Cruz County jail.

Santa Cruz police say the victim, an adult male, was stabbed multiple times in his upper body and midsection. He was taken to Dominican Hospital for surgery, and then to a trauma center, where he is in intensive care.

Police arrested Andrew Foster, who had remained at the scene in the 200 block of Gault Street. Foster was booked in Santa Cruz County Jail for attempted murder.
