MOSS LANDING, Calif. (KION) An unoccupied vehicle was pulled from the Moss Landing Harbor after it apparently drove off Highway 1 Saturday.

The Monterey County Sheriff's Office's Public Safety Dive Team and the CHP were called out by Moss Landing Power Plant employees who said a security fence was damaged. They said it looked like a vehicle crashed through it and into the harbor early that morning.

After looking through security camera footage, the Sheriff's Office found out that a red Lincoln Navigator had driven off the road, through the fence and into the harbor. It was found submerged in about 12 feet of water off the B dock.

The vehicle was pulled from the harbor safely. The CHP found the owner of the vehicle at their house and interviewed them.
