Forgotten mural found during renovations at Santa Cruz County building

SANTA CRUZ COUNTY, Calif. (KION) The County of Santa Cruz is trying to find the history behind a mural found during renovations.

It was found while renovating a former cafeteria on Ocean Street, and the county thinks it was beneath the wall for several decades.

The county preserved it and brought it into the community room that will be opening soon.

Now the county is asking for the community's help finding the story behind the mural.
