CHP: 5 vehicles hit by projectiles on Highway 101
Five more vehicles were hit by projectiles on Highway 101 Saturday evening within just six minutes of each other, according to the California Highway Patrol.
These latest cases bring the total number of reported incidents since February to 61.
The CHP said the first car was struck at 5:26 p.m. traveling northbound on Highway 101, north of Dunbarton Road. The second and third vehicle were struck at the same time near Crazy Horse Canyon Road.
The fourth vehicle was hit near Mallory Canyon Rd and the last car was struck at 5:32 near Berta Canyon Road.
Within the last three days alone, 11 cars have been hit by projectiles in total.
The CHP said the objects impacted the drivers-side front windshield. No one was injured.
The CHP said no one is in custody at this time.
