Car hits power pole, road closed
A highly trafficked area in Santa Cruz County was closed Monday evening and is not expected to reopen until Tuesday morning.
The California Highway Patrol says a car hit a power pole and lines around 5 p.m. Tuesday on Branciforte between Glen Canyon closing the area near the DeLaveaga park entrance.
PG&E will go out and clear the scene Tuesday morning.
The CHP suggests using Glen Canyon and Mill roads as an alternate route.
