King City Union School District employee accused of inappropriate communications with student

A King City Union School District employee is on administrative leave after allegations of inappropriate communications with a student.

According to the district, a preliminary investigation revealed there was substance to the allegations.

In a message on the district’s website, KCUSD said the staff member has been put on administrative leave while a full investigation is conducted.

The district is not releasing any more information to protect the student’s privacy.

Parents have been notified.

In the online message the district said, “The well-being of every student is a paramount priority in our schools and in our District. We want to assure our school community that we take swift and consistent action to uphold all policies to maintain student and staff safety.”
