Beach advisory lifted at Lovers Point Beach

UPDATE 10/16/2019 4:00 p.m. A beach advisory at Lovers Point was lifted on Wednesday at around 3:30 p.m.

UPDATE 10/16/2019 11:00 a.m. Lovers Point Beach in Pacific Grove is under a beach advisory as of Oct. 15 at 1:30 p.m. The advisory will be posted until samples show that the bacteria has returned to a safe level.

High bacteria levels have been associated with a higher potential risk for illness.
