Santa Cruz police warn of traffic delays during global warming protest

Police in Santa Cruz are warning drivers about potential traffic delays during a global warming protest on Friday.

Between noon and 6 p.m. near Mission Street and downtown, police are anticipating congestion and ask drivers to exercise patience and plan accordingly.

Police said several community groups will be protesting to express concern about the environment and effects of global warming.
