Fundraiser for for the family of fallen CHP Officer Andre Moye

(KSEE/KGPE) – California Pizza Kitchen is helping raise money for the family of fallen CHP Officer Andre Moye Jr. with an all-day fundraiser on Tuesday.

On August 12th, Officer Moye pulled over Aaron Luther near the junction of I-215 and Eastridge Avenue in Riverside. He was filling out paperwork to impound Luther’s pickup truck when the CHP says Luther pulled out a gun and started firing. The following shootout claimed the life of Officer Moye. The suspected gunman was also killed in the shootout.

California Pizza Kitchen is working with nonprofit Police and Fire: The Fallen Heroes to support a trust fund in the name of Andre Moye Jr. Anyone who presents the flyer below or mentions the fundraiser to their server will have 20 percent of their check donated to the fund by California Pizza Kitchen.

The fundraiser can be applied to dine-in, takeout, online, catering or delivery orders. All money raised will go to the Moye family, the nonprofit said.

You can donate to the fundraiser directly here.
