Salinas author up for best book cover contest

A local author is vying for the title of best book cover this month.

Salinas native Brian Courrejou’s children’s book More Bees Please! is nominated.

The book is about bugs with a message about inclusion and diversity. If the book wins, it would be the first children’s book to do so.

The contest runs for a few more days.
