Monterey County Behavioral Health holding informational sessions on coping after trauma

Monterey County Behavioral Health is holding two informational sessions on how to cope after a traumatic event.

The goal of the sessions is to teach people about the impact of trauma on children and youth, warning signs and how to cope after traumatic events. There will also be information about resources.

The first session will be held Aug. 6 from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the Monterey County Office of Education in Salinas, and the second will be Aug. 7 from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the Marina Library. Presentations will be in English and Spanish.
