Lake Fire burns more than 300 acres near Lake San Antonio

UPDATE 8/1/2019 11:00 A.M. The Lake Fire burning in southern Monterey county is now 95% contained at 316 acres, according to Cal Fire.

The cause of the fire that started Monday near Lake San Antonio is still under investigation.

UPDATE 7/31/2019 9:30 a.m. Cal Fire said the Lake Fire burning near Lake San Antonio is now 90% contained.

The fire has burned 316 acres since it started on Monday. The cause is still under investigation.

The Lake Fire started Monday near Lake San Antonio, Jolon Road and Newy Pleyto Road.
