Alleged rock thrower arrested for assault with deadly weapon
For the second time in four days, Peter Seda, 20, is back in jail.
The Boulder Creek man was arrested earlier Monday for allegedly throwing a 2-pound river rock at a 61-year-old man in the doorway of a home on Cedar Street.
Police say the attack appears to be a random act and the victim is recovering.
Seda was located nearby and arrested.
It is Seda’s second encounter with law enforcement this week. Records show he was arrested three days earlier by the Santa Cruz County Sheriff’s Office for being under the influence of drugs.
Seda was booked into the county jail on a charge of assault with a deadly weapon.
