One man arrested, one wanted for allegedly pointing gun at people in Salinas
One man was arrested and police are looking for another man after they allegedly pointed a gun at people in Salinas.
It happened Tuesday at Buffalo Wild Wings. Police responded to a report of two men in a dark gray BMW pointing a gun at people in the parking lot.
Officers in the area saw a vehicle matching the description that they said was speeding away from the scene. Police tried to perform a traffic stop, but they said the BMW took off and led them on a nearly 2-mile pursuit before it crashed into a house.
Police say those in the car ran away, but the passenger, 24-year-old Kenneth Fresquez, was caught. They also said they found a loaded gun in the car. Fresquez was booked into the Monterey County Jail for gun charges and resisting arrest.
Salinas police said they identified the driver, but are still investigating.
