Man arrested in Sand City on suspicion of drug possession and sales

A man is behind bars after Sand City police said they found him with drugs, cash and evidence of illegal drug sales.

Officers contacted Rogillo Ensoy Mamon on Monday for a probation compliance search. He is on active felony probation because of prior drug sales convictions.

During the search, officers said they found about a half ounce of crystal meth and several hundred dollars in cash. On his phone, they said they found evidence of involvement with illegal drug sales.

Mamon was arrested and booked into the Monterey County Jail.
