330 PG&E customers impacted by power outage in Santa Cruz after tree fell
Dozens of PG&E customers are without power tonight after a tree fell and took down power lines.
A PG&E spokesperson said the outage happened around 12:45 p.m. and impacted 330 customers.
37 customers are still without power tonight.
As PG & E crews repair the lines, Pine Flat Road is closed near Quail Drive.
Fire Captain Scott Green with CAL Fire said there was also a small fire in the area that is now contained.
No word at this time how the two incidents are connected as the fire is still under investigation.
PG&E said crews will work throughout the night and expect to have power restored by 4 a.m. tomorrow morning.
