Warped Tour waves goodbye to 25 years of touring in final West Coast stop
Thousands of music lovers from around the country flocked to Mountain View to say goodbye to one of the longest running music festivals.
Vans Warped Tour has been traveling the country for 25 years, and organizers have called it quits.
And for that reason, nostalgic people came out in full force to see artists like Travie McCoy, We the Kings, and Simple Plan.
The stop was the only one on the West Coast.
Robin Dunn has been coming for all 25 years and says her son has grown up around the music, so they both came out for one last round.
“I grew up on ska, and so he loves ska. He plays drums and that’s like our favorite. We thought last year was the last as far as obviously cross-country, and then we found this out, so we booked it right away to come out here so it’s dope.”
Vans Warped Tour continues tomorrow for another day-long lineup.
Festival producer Kevin Lyman gave an emotional thank you and goodbye to the Warped Tour community for an awesome 25 years.
