Two people out on bond arrested on suspicion of possession of drugs for sale in Scotts Valley

Two people are behind bars after they were found with drugs and packaging material.

Scotts Valley police say they pulled over a vehicle without license plates, and inside were Anthony Alvarez of Watsonville and Camielle Johnson of Santa Cruz. They were both out on bond on felony charges, police say.

Officers searched the vehicle and say they found more than 80 grams of meth and a “sizable amount” of heroin inside. They say they also found MDMA, Xanax, a digital scale and packaging materials.

Alvarez and Johnson were arrested on suspicion of having meth and heroin for sale, conspiracy, committing a felony while out on bond and having prescription pills without a prescription.
