Salinas coach accused of rape under investigation for financial improprieties
The FBI confirmed to KION that a federal law enforcement investigation is underway into possible financial improprieties involving the political work of North Salinas High School coach John Fickas.
An FBI spokesperson would not confirm any other details of the investigation, but suggested it was wide-ranging.
The Monterey County Sheriff’s Office has received dozens of new complaints since Fickas was arrested for raping and drugging two people. Fickas is currently out of jail on a $400,000 bail.
