Sand City police arrest man for fifth time this year

Sand City police arrested a man for the fifth time this year on Saturday.

Police contacted Jerome Robinson, who is on active probation, in the 800 block of Fir Avenue for a probation compliance search. He was arrested after officers say they found a stolen iPhone, Squaw Valley ski passes belonging to a local teacher, crystal meth and drug paraphernalia. Robinson was booked into the Monterey County Jail.

This is not the first time Robinson has been arrested by Sand City police this year. On July 6, he was arrested on suspicion having a dirk/dagger and probation violation. In March, he was arrested on the same charges as July 6. In February, he was arrested on suspicion of shoplifting and probation violation. In January, he was arrested on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance and probation violation.
