Salinas Police arrest two people after chase ends in Prunedale

Salinas Police were led on a chase stretching from Salinas to Prunedale on Sunday night.

The vehicle involved eventually came to a stop at El Camino Real and Pesante Road before the driver attempted to flee the scene.

That driver and the passenger in the vehicle were arrested

Salinas Police were able to confirm that the chase started after they attempted to pull over the vehicle for a traffic violation.

Further details surrounding their arrest are not known at this time.

Police early Monday morning would also not provide the names of the suspects. Police say they will attempt to provide more info as the investigation continues.
