King City man arrested, accused of lewd acts with child

After an investigation that lasted nearly 14 months, police have arrested a King City man and charged him with committing lewd acts with a child.

According to King City police, Raul Martinez, 34, admitted to investigators that he had inappropriately touched a 13 year-old girl for approximately a year.

The girl, then 16, contacted police on May 22, 2018. Investigators arrested Martinez on Sunday July 14, 2019.

Martinez was booked into Monterey County Jail on charges of Lewd Acts with a child under 14 years of age, and Continuous Lewd acts with a child under 14 years of age.
