Santa Cruz police looking for owner of recovered bike

Police in Santa Cruz are looking for the owner of a bike after finding it with a man who had an active warrant for his arrest.

Officers responded to the 100 block of Chestnut Street after a report of someone breaking into a vehicle. When they got there, they found 56-year-old Tyronne Abrams.

Police found out Abrams had an active warrant for his arrest. He also had the bike with a filed-off serial number, 75 grams of of crystal meth and a cap gun.

Santa Cruz police are now looking for the owner of the bike. To claim it, call Officer Serrano at 831-420-4899 or 831-420-5900. Police require proof of ownership.
