Power restored after Scotts Valley crash

Power has been restored to a Scotts Valley neighborhood after it went out when a car collided with a telephone pole Friday.

Pacific Gas and Electric confirmed that power went out at 12:53 p.m. Friday in an outage that affected 146 PG&E costumers in Scotts Valley’s Whispering Pines neighborhood. All impacted customers had their power restored by 11:48 p.m. Friday.

The crash occurred on Whispering Pines Road. There were no injuries.

Whispering Pines Road is once again open to traffic.
