Bus driver allegedly attacked by dog at Capitola Mall

The Santa Cruz County Animal Shelter is looking for a dog that allegedly attacked a bus driver.

The shelter says that on Monday, a Metro Santa Cruz bus driver was leaving his vehicle at the Capitola Mall. As he got out of the bus, the shelter says the dog lunged and attacked, leaving the bus driver with injuries to his leg.

The shelter says the man and dog left the scene, but their photo was taken from inside the bus.

If you recognize the man or the dog, you are asked to call Animal Control at 831-454-7303 ext. 1.
