PG&E crews work to fix downed power line in Salinas
PG&E crews are working to restore a power line in Salinas Sunday night after a tree branch knocked it down in the afternoon.
The CHP says a power pole and wires came down after 3:30 p.m. on Corral de Tierra Road, leaving nearly 1,200 customers without power. They were back online at 5:40 p.m. according to a PG&E spokesperson.
The road was closed for about three hours, but has since been reopened.
A PG&E spokesperson says the work on that line is expected to be complete by Monday morning.
