Google’s appearance in Santa Cruz could make waves in housing market

Google’s recent $2.6 billion buy of the Santa Cruz company “Looker” could make waves in the Santa Cruz County housing market.

Scotts Valley real estate specialist, Robert Aldana, said this could be a bigger deal than many think.

He says this could just be the start of what Google has planned for Santa Cruz.

Some Santa Cruz residents say they are happy a local startup is doing so well, while others don’t want to see more small companies bought out.
