Three men arrested after search warrant yields machine guns, other weapons

Authorities arrested three men found carrying machine guns and other illegal weapons in a multi-jurisdictional arrest Friday.

Officials from the Soledad and Greenfield police departments arrested 29-year-old Eddie Valdez, 21-year-old Jacob Albarran and 22-year-old David Perez after executing four search warrants. Machine guns, high-capacity magazines, a dagger and metal knuckles were seized.

The local authorities partnered with the California State Parole, the United States Department of Homeland Security-Homeland Security Investigations, the Drug Enforcement Agencies, the California Highway Patrol, the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation and the Monterey County Department of Probation to make the arrest.

The suspects were booked into the Monterey County Jail.
