San Ardo fire scorches field
A fire scorched a field in San Ardo near Railroad Street this afternoon, according to a tip from one of our viewers.
A video sent to us by viewer Danny Rubio shows the flames tearing through the brush in the field around 4:15 p.m. Saturday. The fire also sent clouds of black and gray smoke billowing into the air.
Rubio told KION the fire moved pretty fast because of high winds in the area.
We reached out to CAL Fire and King City Fire, but have not received a response.
No word on what caused the fire or how many acres it burned.
