Two arrested in Salinas for having drugs, cash and guns after community tips

Two people are behind bars for having drugs, guns and cash after reports from community members.

On Thursday, members of the Salinas police Violence Suppression Task Force along with other agencies, including state parole and the CHP, served a search warrant on the 1800 block of Lenny Avenue.

During the search, officers found meth, cocaine, heroin, illegal pprescription pills, two handguns and around $17,000 in cash.
