Mother confronts daughter’s bullies in classroom

A mother has been banned from a Laguna Niguel school after walking into her daughter’s classroom and threatening students.

It happened Tuesday morning. Christian Tinsley says she went into the Niguel Hills Middle School classroom and ranted at the students because some of the students were bullying her daughter and she did not believe enough was being done.

Tinsley says for months her daughter told her several boys were bullying her, but when the school got involved, it got worse. She says the bullying happened in the classroom, on social media and on her walk home.

Her daughter even said one of the boys sexually harassed her. The school investigated it and suspended him, but Tinsley says it kept getting worse. She says, “Then she made a comment to me that if she wasn’t as strong as she was, she would have killed herself. That’s when Mama bear mode went into effect.”

The school recommended that she should not speak to the bullies or their parents herself, but she says she went into the school that day knowing she would be banned. Tinsley says she does not regret what she did.

The Orange County Sheriff’s Office was asked to investigate the case.
