Monterey County Sheriff’s Office seizes meth, police scanner among other items

Two men are behind bars following someone calling 911 after seeing them walking around the neighborhood with a baseball bat.

Deputies found Angel Ochoa and Gabriel Martinez with about 9 lbs of methamphetamine and the baseball bat at a home on Onyx Ct. The two also had $5,000 dollars, a police scanner and a knife.

They were arrested and booked.
