Man suspected of DUI crashes into Santa Cruz County Sheriff’s Office unit

A man was arrested for felony DUI after a series of very unfortunate events on Cinco de Mayo.

Officials say the driver of a truck was driving the wrong way on Airport Boulevard when he crashed into a Santa Cruz County Sheriff’s Office patrol unit.

The deputy suffered minor injuries during the early morning collision.

The driver of the truck was arrested for felony DUI.
