Fatal accident on US 101 near Wildhorse
A 68-year-old Alameda man is dead following an accident on US 101 near Wildhorse.
Around 10 this morning, the man was driving on US 101 north of Wildhorse Road when for unknown reasons, he made an unsafe turn into the median.
He continued north in the median, crossing into the northbound lanes of 101. The vehicle then overturned multiple times before coming to rest on its roof.
The driver died on scene. It does not appear drugs or alcohol were a factor in the accident.
