Cowboys, Cocktails, Rhythm & Rhymes back for its second year

California Rodeo will be hosting its second Cowboys, Cocktails, Rhythm & Rhymes event this Saturday.

The California Rodeo is a celebration of cowboy culture, complete with cowboy poet Gary Robertson, singer/songwriter Gary Allegretto and other performances.

Monterey County Sheriff Steve Bernal will be there and Clem Albertoni will be the emcee.

It will be held at the Fox Theater on Main Street in Salinas on April 27. Doors open at 4:30 p.m., from 5:30 to 6:30 there will be an open mic session and the show will start at 6:30.

Tickets for the dinner and show are $55 per person before April 18, but those tickets are limited. Balcony tickets are also available for $25 before April 19 or $30 after that or at the door. The balcony tickets do not include a dinner.
