Arrest made in connection with 2014 Hollister homicide

Hollister Police have arrested a man in connection with a 2014 homicide.

Police say Christopher Larios, 32, of Hollister walked into the police station on Sunday saying he wanted to make a statement about a shooting that happened on December 23, 2014.

Detectives interviewed him, and as a result of the interview he was arrested and booked into the San Benito County Jail on murder and assault with a deadly weapon charge.

The homicide happened on the 2000 block of Scenic Circle. At 3 a.m. police responded to a call saying a man was non-responsive at that location.

Officers found 28-year-old Raul De La Rosa outside a house on Scenic Circle. He recieved emergency medical aid, but was declared dead after all attempts to save his life were exhausted. Police ruled his death a homicide.
