Monterey opens survey on social services

The City of Monterey hopes to get a diverse range of opinions from a community survey on the quality and accessibility of social services in the city.

The survey is part of a larger analysis of the needs of low-income residents, single parent households, disabled persons, seniors, and the homeless.

The city says results of the survey will help determine which services are most helpful, and identify gaps in services to its so-called vulnerable communities.

The public survey is available online, in both English and Spanish, and will be open through Monday, April 22.

Residents can find the survey through the City’s Housing Programs webpage at monterey.org/housing or directly at the links below:

Paper copies of the survey are also available at the City of Monterey Housing Programs Office, 353 Camino El Estero in Monterey.
