Buellton man arrested for sex crimes, more victims possible in central California
A Buellton man is under arrest for sex crimes committed against minors, but the Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s Office says there may be more victims in central California.
Gregory Scott Ray, 52, was arrested April 9 for sex crimes committed against three male minors in the Santa Ynez Valley, but more victims have come forward since then. The Sheriff’s Office says some of them are local and some outside the area.
Ray traveled to other counties in the state while working as an independent contractor and sales consultant for Friesens LLC, a yearbook publishing company. He helped with yearbook consulting at school campuses from San Jose to Los Angeles County, so there may be more victims in those areas and the counties in between.
If you have been a victim or know someone who has been victimized, you are asked to call the Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s Office at 805-681-4150.
