2 San Benito County residents accused of not registering as sex offenders

Two men are being accused of not registering as sex offenders in San Benito County.

During a routine audit of the California Sex and Arson Registry system, San Benito County Sheriff’s Office detectives found that Jonathan Fidone , 29, and Gaetano Addamo , 46, were not in compliance.

The Sheriff’s Office said it’s unclear how long Fidone and Addamo lived in the community.

Both men were booked into the San Benito County Jail.

Fidone was released pending a court date and Addamo remains in custody pending arraignment.
