UCLA report blames Monterey and Santa Cruz Counties for illegal pesticide use

Monterey and Santa Cruz County community members took a stand against pesticide use, Wednesday.

The group, Safe Ag Safe Schools (SASS), met at the Monterey County Government Building urging argriculture commissioners, from both counties, to take action.

Their response comes after the release of a UCLA report that Monterey and Santa Cruz Counties are violating state law with the use of hazardous pesticidies.
