San Jose man killed in Morgan Hill crash Saturday

A motorcyclist has died after a crash in Morgan Hill Saturday night.

The Hollister-Gilroy CHP says it happened about 5:10 p.m. on Highway 101.

The motorcyclist and a driver in a car were going northbound within the city of Morgan Hill when the driver of a car slowed down for traffic ahead.

The motorcyclist wasn’t able to safely stop in time and hit the back of the car. He was ejected onto northbound lanes of traffic.

The motorcyclist from San Jose was pronounced dead at San Jose Regional Medical Center. The 30-year-old man has not been identified, and his sobriety is still under investigation.

The driver of the car was not under the influence. The San Jose woman had minor injuries and was not arrested.
