Closure in Santa Cruz after pedestrian hit by vehicle

A person was struck by a vehicle in Santa Cruz, Saturday night.

California Highway Patrol dispatch tells KION that the accident happened at around 6:30 p.m. near East Cliff Drive and Assembly Avenue. There is no information yet on any injuries. The driver remained on the scene.

As of 7:56 p.m., the road is still closed at Eaton Street and Lake Avenue.
