Police: Unlicensed HS student hits three cars in Santa Cruz, one student flown to trauma center

UPDATE: 3/15/2019 12:38 p.m. An unlicensed high school student lost control and crashed after hitting three cars in Santa Cruz.

According to police, four students were in a two seater car when the driver lost control in the 200 block of Lafonda Avenue Friday.

One student was life flighted to a trauma center, the other three are at a local hospital with injuries.

Lafonda was reopened around 3 p.m.
