One injured in shooting on San Miguel Avenue in Salinas
One person was injured during a shooting at a house party on the 600 block of San Miguel Avenue Saturday night.
The information about the party was posted on social media, so the host did not know some of the attendees.
Police say a man went to the party looking for his girlfriend, but got involved in an argument that led to shots being fired. The man looking for his girlfriend was grazed by a bullet in the head and went to Salinas Valley Memorial Hospital. His injuries are non-life threatening.
Salinas Police say they do not know who fired the gun because the victim is not cooperating and the host did not know the people involved. Party-goers left the scene before police arrived.
