Boyfriend pleads not guilty following deadly shooting in Aptos
The man accused of shooting and killing his girlfriend at their Aptos home pleaded not guilty in court Wednesday.
Patrick Aaron Collins, 36, is accused of killing 61-year-old Victoria May Aless Seidlinger at their home in the 3100 block of Trout Gulch Road around 4:30 p.m. on Jan. 30. He’s also accused of stabbing Seidlinger’s ex husband.
All three people involved were living on the property together.
Collins suffered a gunshot wound to his arm and was wearing a sling in court.
Collins bail was set at $1,000,000. A preliminary examination is set for March 11.
