UPDATE: Power restored to nearly 7,000 people in Salinas
UPDATE 12/24/18 10:52 p.m.: PG&E says power was restored to all customers at 9:40 p.m. The cause of the outage is still under investigation.
PREVIOUS STORY: Crews are working to investigate a power outage affecting 6,865 Salinas customers.
PG&E says the outage began at 5:30 p.m. Monday.
They say crews are investigating the cause and working quickly to restore power.
Until the cause is determined, PG&E says they can’t estimate when power will be restored.
