Man stomps dog to death in Castroville
A man is behind bars for allegedly stomping a dog to death in Castroville.
The incident happened at a home on Spring Point Road around 5:45 p.m. Wednesday.
Monterey County Sheriff’s deputies arrested 31-year-old Jose Arturo Gallardo for killing the 1-year-old Chihuahua. The Chihuahua’s name was River.
