DNA links Watsonville man to sex assault case from 2016
A Watsonville man is behind bars again after DNA evidence linked him to a 2016 sex assault.
According to Watsonville Police, 22-year-old Rafael Orozco was arrested at his home Thursday morning, December 13th.
Orozco is now facing charges for the sexual assault of a 13-year-old girl.
Orozco was also arrested in 2017 for a felony assault. Police said his DNA was then entered into a system that connected him to the 2016 case.
