Man tries to lure Pacific Grove High School student into car
A man allegedly tried to lure a teenage girl into his car as she walked to school in Pacific Grove.
According to a letter sent to parents from the Pacific Grove High School principal, the teen was approached by a Hispanic man in his thirties in an old white Honda Civic. The man asked if she needed a ride, when the student said no he tried to get her in the car.
The student ran away and pulled her phone out and the man sped off.
The letter reminded students to be aware of their surroundings and call for help. A similar incident happened in Salinas. No word yet on if these two cases are related.
