Two people arrested after drug bust in Marina
Two people are behind bars after a drug bust in Marina.
According to the Marina Police Department, at 11:44 Friday morning, the Marina Police Department and PRVNT were carrying out a parole search in the 100 block of Reservation Road when they found the drugs.
Police said officers found more than a pound of drugs including ten ounces of methamphetamine, one ounce of heroin, and seven ounces of marijuana.
Officers also found drug related items and cell phones.
37-year-old Arnulfo Picazo from Salinas was arrested for the meth and marijuana. He also had a no bail felony warrant for a parole violation.
28-year-old Joanna Iniguez from Castroville was arrested for heroin and drug paraphernalia.
Iniquez gave a fake name to officers and was also then charged with obstructing a peace officer.
Iniguez had a no bail warrant for absconding from probation.
